It never ceases to amaze us here at Laidlaw Lettings how the Aberdeen rental market is booming. This is our third year where properties go on the first viewing and enquiries are overwhelming.
The viewers coming along to view the properties say there are just not enough properties to rent in Aberdeen and more often than not they get a call on the way to the viewing to say that the property has gone.
Laidlaw Lettings has a database of potential tenants and we are actively looking for more landlords and properties to house them. If you have a property in Aberdeen that you are thinking of renting out or looking for advice on renting, please contact Susan on 07739 418478 or at susan@laidlawlettings.co.uk.

Aberdeen Rental Prices Highest in Scotland
According to press releases this week, Aberdeen is one of the areas in the UK proving to be unaffordable for some families to rent in.
Having seen a growth in rental prices of over 7% in the past 12 months, it is no wonder why that is so.
Citylets reported average rents in Aberdeen being as follows:
1 bedroom - £631
2 bedroom - £879
3 bedroom - £1287
4 bedroom - £1995
However, according to Aberdeen Council 'Aberdeen city and Aberdeenshire have significantly higher proportions of households with income over £40,000 compared to the other key cities in Scotland and the Scottish average'.
In which case the high rents could be in correlation with incomes.
